Day 21
Let's go a little deeper – shall we? Today I'd like us to do some thinking about our Inner Being and our guidance system. Few things are as important to our transformation as our personal guidance.

Abraham-Hicks – North Los Angeles, CA, 8/13/01

When we use the word Inner Being, we are pleased with that word because it's a better word than Soul . It's more descriptive, it's even a better word than Higher Self even though Higher Self is descriptive of it too. But Inner Being implies that it is within you, and that comes closer to helping you understand where this energy comes from.

Extract from Abraham-Hicks tape G- 9/10/95

….sometimes physical people, especially if they are speaking in metaphysical terms, will speak of their source energy or of their Inner Being as Higher Self and the reason that that is a fairly good description is because they recognize that their inner being is vibrating. In other words their source energy, the non-physical part of them, is vibrating at a higher frequency. The reason that their inner being vibrates at a higher faster frequency is because there is less resistance in that vibration. Think about what is the difference between a high fast frequency, and a low slower frequency. Isn't the difference resistance? And isn't resistance contradictory energy?

--Abraham-Hicks tape G-5-18-96

We want you to understand that your core being, your source energy. That Godself within you is all knowing about you. That core energy knows intricately the workings of your body. That core energy knows where you are going today and what you are likely to encounter.

That core energy is like having a friend in a helicopter who is aware of everything that is about to happen to you today That core energy is your guidance system of supreme nature. In other words your Inner Being is really aware of you. Aware of everything about you. Knowing what you want . Knowing where you stand relative to what you want.

So if in the first two or three segments of the day, you DON'T do something causes you to vibrationally exclude yourself from that core energy…………did you hear us? You don't watch the news or you don't do something that takes you away from your core energy. Now you are CONNECTED to this broader perspective.!!

And all of your inclinations as long as you are connected to that core energy are going to reflect that all-knowingness.

You're going to choose the best route in traffic.

You're going to make the best and most effective lane changes.

You're going to tune in to the radio station that is in vibrational harmony with who you are.

You're going to metabolize your food in a way that causes your body to be the way you want it to be.

You're going to make all choices, both conscious and unconscious that are in vibrational harmony with who you are. And what you really want .

Extract from Abraham-Hicks tape G-3/17/96

What we want you to do is be more like your Inner Being. Your Inner Being observes you in everything you do, but your Inner Being never joins you in your discomfort. Your Inner Being knows that all is well, so when your Inner Being sees you in the struggle, your Inner Being just basks in the knowing that the struggle is going to bring you to a stronger decision. And your Inner Being anticipates what the decision will be and anticipates your success within the decision. Your Inner Being never gets down and moans and complains and wallows in the struggle with you. So please do not stop observing. Just don't spend more than 17 seconds observing something that isn't a vibrational match to your desire.

Your Inner Being is guiding you toward well-being. ALWAYS!! Whether you are listening or not.

And so the question is: Are you listening? And how do you know when you are?

And we say to you .

You cannot hear the guidance when you are angry.

You cannot hear the guidance when you are mad.

You cannot hear the guidance when you are fearful.

You cannot hear the guidance when you are fitful.

You cannot hear the guidance when you are guilty.

You cannot hear the guidance when you are lonely.

You cannot hear the guidance when your valve is closed, you see.

So!! Just get happy in any way you can.

Do the things that please you most.

Spend time with the people that thrill you most.

Go to the places where you bask easily .

And most of all make a decision that "Nothing is more important than that I feel good."

And under those conditions you will be guided with a precision that will knock your socks off.

Not just to an area that will receive little disruption, but to an area where you can thrive. To an area where you can find joy. To an area where you will rendezvous with the others you've intended.

Extract from Abraham-Hicks tape G-4/17/94

"Your 'Sixth Sense' is your Inner Being who has a full view of all you are living, all that you have ever lived, and all that is in your future. Your Sixth Sense is your Inner Being with broader perspective of that which you are Your Sixth Sense is your broad perspective, you can call it God perspective, you can call it Inner Being, you can call it Soul, you can call it spiritual guide. It is the Non-physical part of you that has very keen awareness of that which you are. Your Sixth Sense is your feeling barometer that lets you know the distance between what you want and what you are currently vibrating -- your gut feeling." Abraham-Hicks ~ G 1/23/93

My Gratitude Journal – There's nothing better than gratitude. What are you thankful for today? Enjoy making your list of six. If you really feel like going `crazy' today – go ahead and make it seven.

Today's Quiet Place – Enjoy toning-meditation bliss. Just watch those thoughts drift by – just like big puffy clouds on a windy day.

Today's Inspiration – "You were born with a magnificent (emotional) guidance system that lets you know, in every moment, exactly what your vibrational content is, which is being matched by the Law of Attraction. As it is your desire to feel good, and your practice to choose good-feeling thoughts, only good things will come to you."

Enjoy the Journey! Heather

Welcome to Day 22. Let’s explore pivoting and segment intending.

Segment Intending & Pivoting

Theme quote for this week: "When your thought is in sync with that which comes forth from within, doors will open -- and everything that is action-oriented will be smooth-flowing and easy for you." Abraham-Hicks calendar, page 381

Segment Intending and Pivoting go in one class because they are the backbone processes to help you take charge of what you are thinking. Here's how the Abraham-Hicks calendar, page 381, defines pivoting:

"Pivot -- To consciously change the direction of one's thought. To deliberately choose a thought that is in vibrational harmony with one's desire."

In order to understand the importance of pivoting when we have a negative thought (other than that it just FEELS BETTER,) it helps to explore what Abraham has taught about our guidance system.

Guidance System and Pivoting

Abraham teaches that negative thoughts generate negative emotions. Any negative emotion is a message from your Inner Being that you are thinking a negative thought. When you are thinking a negative thought, it is starting the ball rolling toward a negative outcome in your life. Your Inner Being uses the negative emotion to signal you that it is time to change the thought you are thinking.

It is much easier to monitor your emotions than it is to monitor your thoughts. We have way too many thoughts, and many of them are so habitual, it is hard for us to even catch them on the way through. It just feels normal to think negatively, we have been doing it for so long. And I am motivated to change the thoughts by knowing it will make me feel better rather than worse.

In order to lessen negative emotion in our lives, we first learn to find the thoughts that are causing the fear, anger or frustration and get better at changing the thoughts, so the thoughts come up less and less often and you feel good more and more often. This is the crux of pivoting.

John McCurdy (a wonderful metaphysical teacher on the Abraham List) came up with a saying that really jelled the concept for me - "If I am feeling negative emotion, I am thinking something that isn't true. Period."

If you have followed negative thoughts into a really bad place, so you are deep into pain, it is hard to pivot. At that point, Abraham says it is best to just go to sleep, see a movie, read a book, swim, walk, fantasize about sex or distract yourself in some way so that you get back to your feel good state.

Then from that feel good state, when you have the first twinge of negative emotion, now, THAT is the time to jump on it, and really notice the thought that is playing at the moment. It is a thought that your Inner Being is checking right out of your experience on. That particular thought isn't TRUE in the cosmic sense of the word, though it may be fact in your current context. If you think, "I am not enough," or "I can't trust myself," then your Inner Being is out of there!

The moment your Inner Being stops flowing through you, you feel negative emotion. You stop, notice you are feeling bad, and look for the thought that caused the emotion. You notice it is a habitual thought of "I am not enough." You say to yourself, "Well, John McCurdy says this negative emotion means this thought isn't true. What is the truth about me? What do I want to believe about myself? I want to believe that I am enough. I want to know that I am wonderful, in fact."

If you feel better with what you said to yourself, your pivot is successful. Feeling a sense of relief is a clear sign of a neatly executed pivot! Abraham says that we never go back to the original vibration on that subject, after we pivot on it even once. It may reoccur often for awhile, but it will be easier to recognize and shift each time.

It is not your past that is causing your pain, it is your thoughts about the past that cause you pain. And the pain is not just the consequence of the thought, it is the absence of your Inner Being. That is what is intolerable.

It is good that it is intolerable. Otherwise, we would continue to dwell in the negative space that causes us to miscreate in our lives. The pain of our Inner Being withdrawing from us is the guidance system that tells us when we are doing a good job with our thoughts, and when we are wildly off track.

Abraham often makes the comparison of pulling your hand away quickly when you touch a hot stove. Would you want to make your hand numb, so you can rest it there while your flesh is burned and destroyed? NO! You want your hand to become even more sensitive, so that you feel the heat from right above the stove, so you never even have to put your hand directly on it to know it isn't good for you.

That's what we are striving to do. To use the negative emotion as a signal that what we are thinking is too hot to handle! That there is a cooler, more comfortable truth lying at a higher, faster frequency than the "truth" we have decided to focus on in the moment. I just got an image of being in a scorching desert at midday, vs. high up on a mountain side where the view is sublime and the air is cool and clear. Pivoting is moving in the second it takes to change a thought from being scorched to feeling refreshed.

Segment Intending

Segment intending is dividing your day into recognizable intervals and consciously setting different intentions for each segment. For example, when you first wake up in the morning, you are in the "awake but still in bed segment." Then you might move into the "preparing for the day segment which includes showering, dressing, making breakfast." Then it might be the "commute to work" segment. And then the "day at work" segment. Even within your work day, you have different segments - "meeting with a committee," "talking to customers on the phone," "having lunch with your friends."

Each segment has a purpose, and you can state your intentions briefly at the beginning of each segment. For example, for sleeping at night, you might set your intention to re-emerge into nonphysical energy of your core, have your body be relaxed, refreshed and restored, have wonderful dreams, and be more and more aware of your Inner Being's messages to you through your dreams. These are different intentions than your commute to work, which you might prefer to be safe, fun, quick, efficient, easy and uplifting.

As you start segment intending, you discover that the segments start conforming to your new intentions. Sometimes it takes a few conscious intentions to overcome the inertia of years of complaining about commuting, but your experience begins to shift in the direction you are wanting. As you do it, look for evidence that a shift is occurring, and celebrate even the smallest, more on target event.

When you start getting good at segment intending, pivoting becomes less necessary. But even when you segment intend, sometimes you notice something in the environment that is not part of your intention, and by focusing on it, you can create negative emotion, whether it be fear or anger or frustration. That's when you want to remember to pivot and reaffirm your positive intention.

Here's what the Abraham-Hicks calendar, page 379, says about segment intending:

"All is well with you. There is not something that you should be doing that you are not doing. You don`t have any ground to make up for. You have not been lying around not doing your work. You are in the perfect place. And we see this as a sort of turning point where the majority of that which you will attract from this point forward will be more in harmony with your wanting.

Make more decisions in every day. More decisions about what you want. And let your first and foremost -- and most often --decision be, "I want to feel good." Because unless you are in the place of feeling good, unless you are in that place of full connectedness, you don`t have much of value to give to anyone else.

"I want to feel good! I really, really want to feel good! Therefore, I will look for reasons to feel good.

When you get into your automobile, make your statement of intent: "I am wanting to travel safely this distance. I am wanting to be very efficient. I am wanting to have a pleasant drive. I am wanting to be very clear. I am wanting to have a happy heart as I drive..."

As you make those sorts of statements, you set your own vibrational tone so that anything that is around you that is not in harmony with that, simply cannot be where you are.

When you emerge into the day, let your vibration be the dominant one. Your vibration of joy, your vibration of growth, your vibration of freedom, your vibration of love, your vibration of all is well. And anybody that is out there vibrating in discord with that -- will vibrate someplace else.

You will begin to see a dramatic difference in the way others are responding to you. Some of them will find reasons to go someplace else. Others, that you do not know, that will satisfy intentions that are deep and powerful within you, will begin gravitating into your experience.

Assignment: Segment Intending & Pivoting

Identify recurring segments in your particular day, and then pick one. Write a clear segment intention for that part of your day, and share it with the Abraham List if you would like an audience for your work.

I have found segment intending to very helpful. Practice it a little over the next few days and see what you think.

My Gratitude Journal - Today record seven things you are grateful for. Why don’t you read through your whole list. Pretty impressive!

Today's Meditation – Enjoy your 8 minutes of quiet. Meditation is a blending time. It’s the time that your Inner Being in the nonphysical can blend with you who are in the physical. If you’re interested in blending then I suggest that you set your intention. Set your intention to experience greater blending between your Inner Being and you. Simply state your intention and desire and enter the silence.

Giving to Others – Are you still smiling? Ok – today find yourself a stranger and observe for a while – find something you really appreciate about them – and then walk on over – Tell them! No pick-up lines. Just share the appreciation.

Today’s Inspiration – “If one advances in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.” -Henry David Thoreau

Enjoy the Journey! Heather

Welcome to Day 23. How goes the transformation? Let’s take it one thought at a time, one feeling at a time, one choice at a time. No need to rush. No need to take score now – we’re in no hurry. Let’s love the journey.

Deepak Chopra believes “there is no higher purpose than trying to open your awareness until the full impact of reality – in all its beauty, truth, wonder, and sacredness – is consciously experienced.” I encourage you to think about living in the moment today. It’s really not a problem to find yourself jumping all around mentally – the key is to gently bring yourself back to focus on whatever you choose –a question, a quote, an intention, etc.

Today: Notice when you are present and when you are not present. As you notice where your focus is, answer the following questions:

1. When was I most fully present in what I was doing?
2. When I noticed that I was not present in what I was doing, what were the reasons?
3. What can I do in the future to change these reasons so I can be more fully present?
4. What is the value for me of being present?

Remind Yourself: I open myself to the fullness of life in the moment.

Your Gratitude Journal – The Dalai Lama said, “The roots of all goodness lie in the soil of appreciation for goodness.” Today is a good day. I want to encourage you to applaud your own accomplishments. You’ve been doing this thing for 23 days. Give yourself a pat on the back. Think about all the others who are traveling right along with you. We have people all over the world on this journey. We are traveling companions. Can’t you feel the love? I can. Stop, think and feel – and you will feel it too. Write down a name or two. Wow! Go a head and drop them a note or e-mail. When we appreciate someone, let’s let them know. That’s the high vista for today.

Today's Meditation – Enjoy your toning-meditation today. Depending on the weather at your place and your preference – you might want to do a walking meditation today. Get into the mood and take a nice quiet stroll. Touch a few trees and watch a few clouds. Feel the blending between you and the nonphysical. Those lines are opening. Can you feel them? Notice the difference in your perception

Giving to Others – One definition of appreciation is to “rise in value.” By appreciating a person, we offer them a valuable view of who they are to us, in the present moment. Naturally, some people are easier to appreciate than others. Sometimes you have to ask, “What does this person do for me?”

Today I want to turn the tables on you – I want you to express appreciation, joy and encouragement to someone that is very special to you. This person is worthy. This person is deserving. This person is one of the best people I know. Of course, you know already, I am talking about YOU. It is so important that you appreciate you. It is so important that you know you are good. Come up with a nice way to express love and appreciation for you today. Of course, I would suggest ice cream but there are lots of other ways. Tell you what – come up with 6 ways to show appreciation for yourself. What makes you feel good? What turns you on? What fills you with joy?

Have you got your six? Don’t stop until you’ve got six. Got them? Ok – choose one and do it today. There is nothing like self-appreciation to boost that vibration.

“Selfishly seek joy, because your joy is the greatest gift you can give to anyone. Unless you are in your joy, you have nothing to give anyway.” -Abraham

Today’s Inspiration – “What’s the big hurry? You’re not ever going to get it done, so what are you racing toward? Every single activity that you’re involved in is for one purpose only, and that is to give you a moment of joy. That’s why it all exist. Lighten up. Laugh more. Appreciate more. All is well.” It is all for joy. All Is Well.

Enjoy the Journey! Heather

Hello High Vibrator. Welcome to Day 24. Let’s do some weekend stuff. Ready?

17 Seconds

Theme quotes for the week: "Line up your energy as often as you can. If two to three times per day, you can stop and find 68 seconds of pure thought about something, YOU'VE PUT IN A VERY PRODUCTIVE DAY!!"

Why 17 Seconds?

Abraham says that a thought reaches a combustion point at 17 seconds of pure undiluted focus. It draws another thought to it and it is exponentially more powerful. At the end of another 17 seconds, 34 seconds total, the next thought combusts, and by Law of Attraction, evolves to a higher level of energy. Again another 17 seconds to 51 seconds continues the process, and finally, if you can continue a pure thought for 68 seconds on any given subject, it will be on its way to manifestation. The key word is pure, meaning positive focus, strong energy, no resistance; to not slip into lack thinking.

Abraham says the average person rarely finishes a single sentence without contradicting their energy, as in "I want a new car, but it is too expensive." So they say most of us haven't had much experience with ever feeling the combustion of thought that comes from 17+ seconds of pure thought.

In talking about the leverage of 17+17+17+17=68 seconds of pure thought, Abraham offers the following information:

17 seconds is worth 2,000 manhours (about a year at 40 hours per week of action taken)

34 seconds is worth 20,000 manhours (or about 10 years...)

51 seconds is worth 200,000 manhours (or about 100 years...)

68 seconds is worth 2,000,000 manhours (or about 1000 years...)

That's two MILLION manhours (or womanhours!) If we can learn to offer pure thought energy for 68 seconds at a time, action becomes INCONSEQUENTIAL!

How to Get to 17 Seconds of Pure Thought:

Getting to 17 seconds of pure thought purely mentally is harder for me than doing it either out loud or in writing. I find the discipline of speaking or writing helps keep other thoughts from being too distracting.

Abraham: "Nothing is more important than you feel good. Period. It is not necessary to focus on feeling good about oneself, focus on feeling good; period. It is not necessary to feel good about your body, or about your financial situation; find thoughts that make you feel good. Period.

We would recommend that you spend the first week writing 68 seconds about things that you don't care much about, such as blue glass, butterflies, feathers. Because you will attract those things. This exercise will teach you two things: one that you can focus for 68 seconds; two, that the universe does respond to a pure vibration. When you have a level of confidence in the universe, then you can tackle your main issues.

We would every day, twice a day, write your 68 seconds about all areas in your life, relationship, abundance, house, job, etc. You will find it very easy to do. For instance, on your house, appreciate how convenient it is. Appreciate the thermostat that keeps the house at the perfect temperature. Appreciate the sewage system and the plumbing in your bathroom. Appreciate the comfort of it. Know that this house will be temporary, that you will have many others closer to the dream house you want, but meanwhile appreciate it. You see, there was 68 seconds.

So, all of you have major work to do in the next 30 days. Write as many 68 seconds as you can. And do it deliberately."

Ease of Achieving 68 Seconds

Abraham: "Realize that 68 seconds isn't hard to find. Throughout your day, you have thousands of opportunities to do your 68 seconds. Even if your work schedule doubled, you could still find plenty of 68 seconds?

Now, Esther didn't believe us at first that 68 seconds were the equivalent of 2 million man-hours. She couldn't conceive it. But since there isn't anything that we have said over the years that wasn't true, Esther now believes it and uses it.

So, we want to ask you, do YOU REALLY BELIEVE when we say that 68 seconds is the equivalent of 2 million man-hours? Because if you did, YOU WOULD FIND THE TIME TO DO THEM!!!

Who would want to bang things into place, when they know that they can spend 68 seconds and have the universe do it for them? Nobody, yet it is what the majority of you do. You would rather jump into action than do your 68 seconds. You would rather jump into action than align up your energy."

"The Recipe for deliberate creation has 10 parts:

5 parts of appreciating what is

2 parts of imagining a little better than what is

2 parts of looking for things that would make you feel better

1 part of quieting your mind, relaxing and not trying so hard, being at ease at it"

Your Gratitude Journal – A fundamental characteristic of all human beings is the desire to make a contribution that will benefit others. We like thinking that we are making a difference. We thrive when other people notice and appreciate our contributions. When we feel as though we cannot make a contribution or that our contributions are not appreciated, we may begin to feel depressed or cynical. When we appreciate someone it means that we see value in that person. Today let’s identify five people who are central to your work life. Each day next week, select one person and take a few moments to consider what you appreciate about him or her. Think about what he or she contributes to your day that makes your day better. If possible, find a way to express your appreciation, and acknowledge each one of them. Keep a record of this in your Destination Transformation Journal.

Day 1: ________________what he/she contributes to my workday:____________

Day 2:

Day 3:

Day 4:

Day 5:

Remind Yourself:

I am constantly aware of the things to appreciate and acknowledge in others.

Today's Meditation – By now you should be easily and happily doing your toning meditation twice a day. Now try toning (with or without music) any time you notice you’re not feeling good. Toning will have you feeling better in a matter of minutes.

Giving to Others – Close your eyes after reading this. Ask your Inner Being – “Who needs an encouraging word today?” Take a couple of minutes and listen. When the answer comes – deliver that encouraging word – in person, by phone, by letter or e-mail. Ask. Listen. Deliver. Bless you.

Today’s Inspiration – “The essence of all that you appreciate is constantly flowing into, and creating, your reality. As you appreciate, your state of appreciation opens more channels that allow you more for which to feel appreciation.” -Abraham

Enjoy the Journey! Heather

Greetings. Welcome to Day 25.

Remember the placemat exercise. I’ve been using it lately. We talked about it a few days ago. I’ll tell you what I’d do: on the left side I would put all kinds of fun stuff that I wanted to do. The kind of stuff that would make me feel good. Here’s what I figure – if I am feeling good then the Universe will take care of the rest. Let’s practice this placemat thing for a few days.

The Place Mat Process

The "Place Mat" is the most powerful process of Deliberate Creating offered, so far, because it helps you to clearly focus, without resistance. A woman said, "Abraham, this is like magic!" We replied, "It seems like magic because you have been wanting these things for years. But now you want, with no resistance."

Esther and Jerry have been using this process for about a month. Very often, when they are having lunch, they are at a hotel or at a coffee shop somewhere and there's often a paper place mat there. If there is not, Esther gets a big piece of paper from her purse. They draw a line right down the middle of the paper and on the left side they write, Things to do -- Jerry and Esther. And on the right side they write, Things to do -- Universe. On their side of the page they write what they plan to take action on. On the other side they write what they would like the Universe to act on.

Now the power of this Placemat Process is this: When you tell the Universe what you want, you accomplish the only two prerequisites in Deliberate Creating. The first is, you identify your object of desire. The second is, you have no resistance. More positively stated, you allow it. Want it and allow it -- and it is, you see.

PLACEMAT PROCESS [1]

A new process. Very fast and very powerful. We call it The Placemat Process because Jerry and Esther very often do it in the restaurant where they eat. But any paper will do!!

Sit with a big piece of paper before you and draw a line right down the center of the page. Now on the left side of the page as a heading write ……….Action [things that I am working on]. On the right side of the page as a heading write……“Things I would like the Universe to work on." Now on your side of the page you write anything that you are working on that you are really ready to take action on. On the Universe’s side you write anything you want that you are NOT ready to take action on. Get the sense of it?

Esther wrote things on her side of the placemat like:

1 Finish the Sarah book and get it in the hands of the printer.
2. Gather the papers together for the accountant for the IRS reporting.
Or she will write
3. Clean out the drawer in the bathroom that’s been bothering me.
……….or
4. Pick up milk.

In other words, anything. She doesn’t write everything because many things are routine and many things are in the appointment book. Just those action things that she is wanting to remember to take action on. On the Universe’s side she writes anything she wants that she is NOT READY to take action on. Like……….

1. Universe , please see to it that our Airline reservations for the remainder of the year are timely and comfortable.

Now if Esther wrote that on her side of the placemat can you imagine the resistance that she would feel?

In the beginning Esther put many more things on her list than the Universe’s because she is accustomed to justifying her experience through action. But after a few days she noticed a lot of things on her list that she wasn’t doing!! In other words, day after day there they would be and day after day she wouldn’t do them. Day after day they would bog her down and bother her because she wasn’t doing them.

Can you feel the resistance in that??

Then one day it occurred to her. Abraham said the left side of the page is for those things I’m READY to take action on. I am obviously not ready to take action on this or I would have already taken action on it!

So then she moved it to the Universe’s side.

“Universe, I’m not ready to take action on this. Work on it for a while will you. “And she felt enormous release of resistance.

A very good game is to make a long list. Go home tonight and write down everything you can think of, sit down for 30 minutes and just make a list of everything that you want. Anything you can think off. All those consumer items and states of being.

In other words write down anything that you want from a new bathroom faucet to World peace. ANYTHING that you want write it down. Make one list of it [that part of it should take about 15minutes].

And then go down that list again and say ………….."a new faucet: Am I ready to take action on that today?” “No. I don’t have the money. I don’t have the time.“

“Universe, I’d like a new faucet for the bathroom. Orchestrate it please”

Feel the release of the resistance?

Take the next item and the next item and the next. And unless you are ready to act on it today move it to the Universe’s side.

Place Mat Process [2]

The Place Mat Process is the most effective one that we've seen for getting the day started, and that is where you, on the left side of a page, make your list of things you plan to do today. Be true to yourself about it; don't put 5,000 things on today's list. Don't put more on today's list than you can do, or it defeats you. It makes you feel overwhelmed to begin with.

Go through your lists of things. And then on the right side of the page make a list of things that you want, but for whatever reason you're not ready to act on, and just let them come freely from you. Don't carry the list from day to day to day to day. Don't make work of it. Just, every morning, ask yourself "What are some things that I want that I'm not ready to act on? Things that I would like the Universal staff to get going on", and just list those, because making a decision about what you want with an attitude that "it's not for me to do, but I do want it done" is a very good alignment of Energy.

Often if you say, "I want to do this" and you know you don't have time, then your Energy is split even when you write it on the list. But if you say, "I want to do this, and while I don't have time, I'm not putting it on my list. I'm just telling the Universe, work on it if you will, please." Then there's a freedom about it. There's no resistance in the vibration. You're actually doing what Creation is. You're defining what you want and you're staying vibrationally out of the way of it. That's it. Then we would move through our day. Abraham-Hicks G-2/28/97, Napa, CA

Let’s do the placemat process. It’s quick and easy (5 minutes) but it makes a big vibrational difference.

Your Gratitude Journal – I am feeling good. I am very thankful. In fact, I am filled with gratitude today. I feel very loved. I am so glad I am part of UCR.

Thank you for the e-mails, letters, notes, and words. It means more to me than I could ever express. I want all of you to experience those feelings. The more I think about you – the better I feel. I am grateful.

Take a few moments today and think about those people that have touched you with kindness and appreciation - feel their love. Wow! Record their names and thank whoever you thank – for the love in your life.

In this segment I am: ____________________________ (driving to work)
I want to accomplish ____________________________ (safety, uplift, fun)
I want to feel __________________________________ (safe, happy, positive)

Do segment intending throughout your day. This is some good transformation!

Your Gratitude Journal - Record seven people or things that you are grateful for and feel the gratitude.

Today's Meditation – Enjoy your time of quiet today.

Giving to Others – Lift someone’s spirits today. Make them smile.

Today’s Inspiration – “You cannot die; you are everlasting life. In grace, you may choose to relax and allow your gentle transition back into your Nonphysical state of Pure, Positive Energy. Your natural state is foreverness.” -Abraham

Welcome to Day 27.

We’re getting into some real transforming now – aren’t we? One Abraham process that I have found personally very helpful is the BOPA: Book of Positive Aspects. Here’s an introduction:

The Book of Positive Aspects

This exercise will assist you in finding a more deliberate, constant place of positive attraction. Purchase a new notebook. Write across the front of your book, in bold letters: "Book of Positive Aspects". The primary objective of your Book of Positive Aspects is to quickly bring you to a position of feeling good, therefore to a position of positive attraction, but there are many other benefits: A daily entering of positive aspects on old and new subjects will help you to maintain your positive balance. As one area of your life draws you to your Book of Positive Aspects, the recording of your entries will bleed over into other aspects of your experience. Because you are feeling better more of the time, more of the things that you consider to be good will begin to flow smoothly into your experience. Many of the things that you have been wanting - but have been blocking by offering thoughts that attract resistance in the form of negative emotion - will easily flow into your experience. The balance of thought and feeling in your experience will shift from predominantly negative to predominantly positive. You will soon discover that no matter what the emotional state of your world, your economy, or even those close around you in your work or home, you will find yourself in a more positive balance, and by law, indeed by the Law of Attraction, your own life will begin to show the result of that, immediately.

This "Book of Positive Aspects" is not offered as a process whereby you take a negative and turn it into a positive. It is a process to assist you in giving your attention to that which is positive. And as you are focusing upon that which is positive, you cannot focus upon that which is negative. And when you withdraw your attention from that which is negative - it will leave your experience.

Upon each page, begin a new subject. Write what flows easily from you. Do not work at it. When you work at it, you may find yourself trying to stretch something you actually feel negative about into a positive, and in giving it attention, even giving it positive words - you further your negative attention. When the thoughts regarding a particular subject have stopped flowing, turn to a fresh new page and begin a new subject. 15 minutes at the beginning of each day is enough time for this process.

On the second day, read what you have written before, and add as the thoughts come to you. Notice how good you feel during and following this process.

If you find yourself feeling negative emotion regarding a specific person in your experience, begin a page of positive aspects regarding that person.

If you find yourself feeling negative emotion regarding any subject, such as not enough money, not enough time, too much work to do, not enough respect from another ... begin a page in your book to help yourself to identify the positive aspects of that particular situation.

You will notice, right away, that your overall feeling is improved. Not only will the specific situations, upon which you have written, improve immediately, but, also, other experiences not yet identified in your book, because AS YOU FEEL BETTER YOU ATTRACT MORE OF THAT WHICH YOU CONSIDER TO BE GOOD. AS YOU FEEL BAD, YOU ATTRACT MORE OF THAT WHICH YOU CONSIDER TO BE BAD.

Continue for a full week, each day reading what has been written before and adding to that. At the end of the first week, put your book aside and purchase another.

Again, write across the front of your book: "My book of Positive Aspects". You may now begin to see this book as the treasure it really is, for it is the key to your centered, balanced place of Well-being. It is the key to your deliberate positioning of yourself in a place of positive attraction. While your world is predominantly focused upon the negative, with many more critics than those who praise - you have found a process to control the way you feel. While almost everyone you know makes decisions to act from their concern of what will happen if they don't act - you are being inspired to positive, joyful activity

Process from Abraham-Hicks book 'A New Beginning Volume 2'

BOPA for yourself and other people:

I like about myself…..

I like about ….

Do your Placemat for the day.

Your Gratitude Journal – Gratitude for seven things in your life. Record in your Destination Transformation Journal.

Today's Meditation – Enjoy. (Are you waking up with inspired thoughts yet?!)

Giving to Others – Jump out of your comfort zone today – meet someone new – give them a compliment. Lift them with your words and your smile.

Today’s Inspiration – “If the way you feel depends on anything outside of you, you’re in trouble – but if you depend only upon your connection with your own Inner Being, then everything in your experience falls into alignment.” -Abraham

Greetings. Welcome to Day 28! Let’s do some thinking and feeling about money today.

Here are some money ideas that you will enjoy:

The question that we would put to you is, 'Where is your dominant vibration relative to the subject of allowing money into your experience?' In other words, when you think about money does it feel more like shortage or not enoughness?' Here's a better way of putting it. When you think about money does it feel more like insecurity? Or does it feel more like security? Does it feel more like a little fluttering fearful feeling? Or does it feel more like exhilaration? Each of you without exception can answer that question easily. And as you answer the question, you know whether the dominant vibration within you is about your desire – or is about whatever contrasting experience caused you to formulate
that desire. ( Abraham-Hicks, San Francisco, CA - 3/16/02)

Does that mean you can be responsible for the turns in the market? How do you think the turns in the market occur? Most of them occur because mass consciousness is taking some sort of action, but one who is connected to the stream and flowing energy is more powerful than 1 million who are not. So your clear minded session of visualization you can actually turn the market in favour of your portfolio. See what we are getting at? Then watch the stock market shows. It's great fun to watch them scratch their heads "What in the world is happening?" "There’s nothing we understand." You do!!
Extract from Abraham-Hicks tape G-8/1/98.

Let’s say that something is happening around the subject of dollars where you are feeling discomfort in some way. Maybe it’s the feeling of fear that there isn’t enough. Or maybe the feeling of disappointment that you see something that you would like to experience that you cannot afford right now. Or maybe it’s the feeling of jealousy when you witness someone else who is experiencing something that you would like to experience. Or maybe it’s the feeling of resentment when you see someone else experiencing something that you are not able to financially achieve right now. So as you are aware of your MOOD or ATTITUDE then you are aware of what your true vibrational allowing or not allowing is relative to that [or any] subject. If you then recognize that you are having an emotion that is an indicator of not allowing, step back into a more general place.

And then say “Well what is my overall mood relative to the subject of money? “Sure I am disappointed out here on the edge that I can’t do this right now.”

And as you step back into a more general place, you may find a feeling of pride about the way you manage your affairs.

Or you may find a feeling of appreciation of all the things that have come that at one time were not there. Or you may find a feeling of eagerness about what is yet to come.

And as you shift from that place of jealousy, or that place of resentment into a place of pride, or a place of appreciation, you have bridged that belief just a little bit.

And next time you step into a place of jealousy or resentment or disappointment, it won’t be as harsh or as blatant. It will be easier for you.

As you step out into the SPECIFICS, you feel the sting of wherever your beliefs are more poignantly. As you step back into the more GENERAL the sting goes away and your vibration becomes pure.

So what you are wanting to do is step out of the specifics …………. back into the general …………. out of the specifics back into the general – for the purpose of really acknowledging that your mood relative to the subject of dollars is one of well-being.

And little by little what happens is that you reach the place where you are mostly feeling good about that. And things begin shifting all around you relative to all kinds of different subjects that you are living. ( Extract from Abraham-Hicks tape G-2/3/01)

The world is awash in money! Do you hear what that means? It is awash in money. It is flowing for everyone. It is like Niagara Falls. And most of you are showing up with your teaspoons. There is no shortage of anything. Those who believe there is shortage, hold themselves over in this place where they disallow the Energy from flowing to them. And so, in their resistance, they have it not. And then they say, "I am proof that there is shortage. And that man over there that is awash in money is the reason I don't have any." He has nothing to do with your shortage. He is evidence that there is abundance.
Excerpted from Abraham-Hicks Workshop -- Seattle, WA -- 5/27/00

What do you think about all of that? Record your thoughts and questions in your Destination Transformation Journal.

Remember to do a little Segment Intending and Placemat stuff today.

Would you enjoy doing some BOPA?

Your Gratitude Journal – Lift that vibration. Remember as you vibrate –so you attract. Appreciation is the best attractor. Record 7 gratitudes today – this time about you, your personality, your job, your face, your body, your mind, your spirit. You. You. You. Self-appreciation is a biggie. Do a little self loving today.

Today's Meditation – Are you enjoying the peace and quiet? Blend. Intention. Allow. That’s the name of this game.

Giving to Others – I know we as Deliberate Creators don’t spend a lot of time in the past but if you did do some thinking about the past – asking: who am I really thankful for during the first 20 years of your life: who would come to mind? Write their names in your Destination Transformation Journal. Are they still around in the physical? Choose one that is and give them a call. Lift their spirits with your love. If all of them are now in the nonphysical – why not write one of them a letter and tell them what they meant to you. They’ll know. And so will you. It’s a lifting experience.

Today’s Inspiration – As your desire to feel good leads you to thoughts that feel good, the perfect action will be inspired from that alignment. And that inspired action is always joyful.”

Enjoy the Journey! Heather

Welcome to Day 29. How’s it going? You are the person. Today is the day. This is the moment. Did you know you have the ability to share a word or smile that will uplift another human being? It’s true. We are instruments of good. How often have you found yourself exactly where you needed to be? Someone was blessed because of your presence. That feels good. Someone called me just today and said thank you. I thought about their words several times today. That’s the way it goes – share a kind word and it lives – on and on – within the other person’s heart. That’s real power for good, if you ask me.

Your Gratitude Journal – How’s your list looking my friend? Lots of gratitude? What are you thankful for?

Today's Meditation – Enjoy the new, high vibrational YOU. Keep going. Breathe deeply, sing or hum. You are the song of the Universe – how does that feel?!

Giving to Others – Express love to a family member or someone that feels like family.

Today’s Landmark – “I practice the Science of Deliberate Creation”

Today’s Inspiration – “Giving thought to anything is creation; giving deliberate thought to anything is deliberate creation.”

ETJ! Heather

Welcome to Day 30!

Ten days to go. Today and this week. Let’s aim our love at those we often see but don’t see. They’re all around us: at work, on the road, in the store, at church. Who knows – you might even find a special person in your own home. Some of them are big and some are small. Now I know we are very spiritual – but even spiritual people can ‘lend a hand’ once and a while. Right?

Your Gratitude Journal – Gratitude is the highest vibration. Keep building that list – the more we have in our spiritual toolbox – the better it is. Record 6 things you are really really thankful for – Right Now.

Today's Meditation – Try the following process as you do the toning-meditation.

Let’s work on a screening meditation today. The anchor point for this meditation will be the virtual movie screen inside your head. This will be something most of us have mastered – it’s like watching TV, a computer screen or a movie. This makes meditation like watching your favorite TV show – but it’s one that you have written, directed and starred in. In this visual meditation you will probably observe your visual images being projected onto a kind of ‘projection screen” located just behind your eyes. You will be resting your attention on this screen during your quiet time. When thoughts arise, you’ll do what you always do in meditation: Realize they are there and return your attention to your anchor point. The key word with this type of meditation is OBSERVE. All you need to do is observe. There is no need to make sense of this movie.

As always – just allow …allow …allow. No need to wonder why an image of a giant guitar made of American cheese appears on your screen. Just let it be. If you become “hooked” on a visual image, that’s your clue to drop it. This meditation offers you an opportunity to observe your nonstop mental images.

Are you ready? Here are the instructions for this one:

• Bring your attention to your ‘inner projection screen’ located just behind your eyes. This will be your anchor point.

• An image will appear on the screen. It can be a picture of anything, projected in many ways: fuzzy, distinct, black and white, wildly colorful.

• Just observe this image without judgment, analysis, or questioning.

• Let this image do its dance. It may intensify. It may suddenly disappear. It could dissolve into a new image. Allow it to do what it wants.

• Just watch this play of images. Allow them to come and go. Do not make up stories about them. You are just the watcher, not the writer, actor, or director of this movie.

• Caught up in thinking? Good. Notice this. Release the thought, without the slightest self-judgment. Return your attention to your anchor point, your inner projection screen.

• Do this for 10 min.

As you neutrally observe what arises on your private projection screen, the compulsion to do something about it diminishes. Here’s an added note idea you might find interesting: Our experience of the world is created by gathering information through the use of our five senses. However, each of us tends to develop a favorite mode of focus or a modality. Some people are more impacted by what they see (their visual system tends to be dominant). For others, sounds are the trigger for the greatest experiences, while for still others, feelings are the foundation. As you meditate, you may want to experiment with the different modalities to see where you feel the most relaxed or the most stimulated. In one meditation focus on the visual, then the next time try noticing what you feel, and at another time focus more on sound. What works best for you? Enjoy.

Giving to Others – Lift another person today. Write them a note – tell them how you feel. Make it special today!

Today’s Inspiration – “Your true work – in this perfectly balanced Universe – is to weigh, continually, your new stimulation of thought against the existing beliefs within you, thereby deciding what you now want.” (Abraham)

“If you see someone who is very different from you in physical appearance or in age or in economic status, use your mind to Send Them Love rather than a judgmental thought.” (Wayne Dyer)
