Heather Macauley Noell has written some of my favorite books in recent years. Hers is such a unique and important voice. The way she interweaves an engaging fantasy tale with ancient wisdom makes for magical reading every time. I always get lost in her work and have the strange twin sensations of needing to know how the book ends but not wanting it to end all at the same time. With Heather's books I always escape to somewhere I long to be.

Parallel Worlds leaves you asking what is real and what is not, both in the book and in the world, and it's an important question, but it's more than that, the book is an exciting journey into the centre of the world which will literally have your heart beating out of your chest, and there's some beautiful romance in there too which reminds you of what love might one day mean. I have been a huge fan of Heather Macaulay, ever since I've first come across her beautiful audio CD, The Silent Language of Peace. This was more than two years ago. Since then I have shared her audios and website with all my friends, and loved ones. I have been keeping a close eye on her website, and have gained so much peace, love and insight through it.

"Parallel Worlds" is the masterful sequel to Heather's first book, "Children of Light," which can be savored as is or after partaking in the delightful first course of this powerful metaphysical feast!

A mystical sci-fi teen romance with fantastic modern ideas coming from quantum physics using the various possibilities that String Theory and M Theory offer us, but in no way going beyond comprehension, it also has natural earth elements (i.e. there is a civilization in the book which lives in peace and harmony with fellow men and nature and how they do this has relevance for today’s times) I can’t recommend it highly enough. It will open great avenues for discussion if parents read it too. Also it has helpful revelations of the ways boys and girls think which could assist teens negotiating the pitfalls and snubs and perceived slights which occur in relationships.

This story has the potential to really create an entirely new society that is completely in tune with the Earth and our own bodies. I enjoyed Heather's first book, Children of Light, so much that I would easily call Heather my favorite author. It was easy to follow partly because it was intriguing and also because the narrator, Heather "the Author" Macauley Noell, was able to bring out the feelings of the characters, the feelings we can all relate to, no matter what your age. Entertaining and suspense filled. I could not stop listening. It is one of the first books I have listened to in a long, long time, and I forgot how much I enjoyed having someone read a story to me!

I listened to the audio version of Parallel Worlds...and immediately wanted to share it with others. It was uplifting, creative, thought provoking and fun! I especially wanted young people to hear or read it as it opens them up to ideas they may not have been exposed too. Heather has a lovely voice and it is definitely easy listening!

I highly recommend sitting with your kids and enjoying this highly entertaining novel.
